MetSafe participated to the SESAR Innovation Days 2019 in Athens, Greece from 2 to 5 of December

This 9th edition was hosted by the National Centre of Scientific Research (NCSR) “Demokritos” with the main conference running. The aim was to showcase results from European exploratory research and to discuss how to advance promising concepts towards industrial research within the SESAR innovation pipeline.

Poster session was a fantastic opportunity to explain our actionable weather product and services for better weather regulation, in collaboration with France Aviation Civile Services and DSNA CRNA-Est with a focus on fast delivery to operations, supported by Engage, the SESAR 2020 knowledge Transfer Network project.

MetSafe is also very proud and honored to have been part of the mentorship and to have assisted meteorological needs during the first and unique 3-day Digital Sky Challenge on the sidelines of the SIDS. It was the annual Young Scientist Award recognizing young scientific talents in the field, organized jointly by SESAR Joint Undertaking and Airports Council International ACI Europe at Athens. 12 amazing ideas and prototypes from data scientists teams and software developers were created in only 48h. MetSafe supported the Passenger Experience challenge won by Innov’ATM.
